Led by Julie Marshall Madams, who is a qualified Early Years Teacher, Busy Bees is aimed at the children in their last year of nursery who will be starting school in September.
The goal of Busy Bees is to prepare the children for school. They join together in small groups every day, taking part in activities focused on listening, language, simple reading, writing, and maths skills.
Spanish and Makaton sign language is also taught. We have two Spanish teachers at the Nursery, and we teach Spanish informally and in groups throughout the day.
